My word for 2012 is Slowly...
Live slowly.
Speak slowly.
Love slowly.
You get the picture... I felt like 2012 went by in a rush. Rushing all over the place until it was over. I don't like living that way. This year, I really want to focus on slowing down.
Josh mentions something about "the smart kids" (after just telling me about getting 105% on a spelling test) and I say, "You're ONE of the smart kids!" to which he cries, "I'm Anakin Skywalker!! I've become the VERY thing I have been fighting against!" ~Josh age 12.6

Ah, Rachel, I love this word. Love the whole thought behind it.
ReplyDeleteMy word is much more active and occupied, but I really love this idea.
Thanks, Dani!! I was struggling to think of a word... and I was thinking about action words. Then this hit me, and I knew it was the one.
DeleteI'm with you on this one, Rachel. It's so important to just enjoy each moment!
ReplyDeleteI am right with you on your word for 2013! Let's all slow it down and savor each and every moment.
ReplyDeleteWith two teenagers at home, this seems like a great word for our family. It can be so challenging to stop, pause, and slow down.
ReplyDeleteEpiphany is my word for 2013. I'm excited to see God revealed in new ways in the coming year.
