Marie Antoinette Josèphe Jeanne de Habsbourg-Lorraine

I'll just call her Marie Antoinette...

My first try at wig making. I made the curls myself!! (thanks Maya, for the wool roving!)

I kept my signature stripes, but this time, I made them more subtle, so as not to distract from the soft color pallet! Lots of bows and ribbon on this one too!!

and to think it all started with this birdhouse at the thrift store, and the wire frame of a lamp shade...

Rachel, I am not just saying this to be supportive and nice, you are a true artist and have definately found something that transcends your normal great work into the realm of the irreplacable.

My goal some day is to own one of your beauties, and I don't do dolls or collect things usually!

Gosh, she is my favorite so far! When I saw that you were going to watch the movie, I meant to ask how you liked it. I can watch it over and over! I thought Kirsten Dunst did an awesome job! I love that period of time, the clothes, the architecture. You've really captured it here with your doll! I love her!
