Gaea Mina

My newest doll!! I have plans to submit her for publication... wish me LUCK!! lol I made her using all recycled materials, all the way down to the fabric I used to make her body. She is made out of old bed linens. She has a lamp base and neck for legs and feet, a Jr scrabble board between the two of those, and her skirt is made from two onion sacks. Since she's made of all recycled materials, I named her Gaea Mina, which translates to mean earth protector.

I ADORE her!! Are you selling her as well? Racheal you have a gift for making these dolls.

rachel whetzel said...

Adrienne, I use a one step crackle paint, and then a stain over the top of that!

Patti, I may sell her in the future, but she will be physically sent to the publication I'm submitting her to, and she could be there for up to a year, so it might be a while!!
