Here is the project
BEFORE:
On the surface, I don't think that it really looks like it's that different...
But take a closer look... and you can see that the book has lost some of it's stiffness, and it's spine is bending differently... the colors have faded a little...
AFTER:
I noticed Josh's section has faded a little too...
The metal bits are starting to rust... (YAY!)
My red background in the shadow box is starting to age really neatly...
I can't wait to visit the AFTER shots on Seth's Blog. I know there is going to be some AMAZING art there!! You can view all my disintegration posts by clicking on my Disintegration Project Label.

It looks like it is disintegrating very nicely. Once a few bugs get in there and chomp a little on the pages it will really get that wonderful worn and weathered feel. Can't wait to see the end result.
What a cool idea. That is going to look totally amazing when you're done.
the rusted pieces look fantastic. and the red ink. this has been a fun process to watch. happy friday. ~Sara
Funny, but it actually looked more weathered before the weather got to it!
love your bundle.
Isn't disintegration fun?
looking really good, you two. i look forward to your final projects.
Oh, your bundle started out so cool! I love the bingo card, but REALLY love the rhinestone addition on top =)
