I don't think we've EVER had a dog fit so seamlessly into our family.
Even his name change from Hank to HASH went without a hitch.
Did I mention he FETCHES?!?! All Macs has to do to get the ball back, is hold out his hands, and Hash drops the ball for him. Doobie is LOVING him, and they have settled in to each other really well. Playing and rolling around, and no one seems worried about who's the boss dog. Even Travis is loving him!! :) He's the toughest one to sell... The bast part? He likes ME the best.
The boys are beside themselves with glee over having a dog that they can walk without any pulling, and having a dog that PLAYS. When Ian was little, we had little dogs, and they didn't really like to play with HIM. They played with each other. Then we had Kenya. She was AWESOME with the boys, but she didn't PLAY in the same way... She was the watcher. She watched over everyone. Doobie is just Doobie. lol She came a little "broken" and even though she's a GREAT dog, she didn't seek the boys out to play with her, and she doesn't fetch OR play tug of war, so she's not really easy to GET to play. She bounces.
BUT
Hash, he PLAYS. He loves his ball. Not so much that he's obnoxious with it and won't leave you alone about it. Just enough, that if you ask him where his ball is, he gets up and gets it, and catches it in the air in the house, and runs his heiney off to get it when you throw it for him outside. He's JUST AWESOME. He's even helping Doobie to get more DOG personality!! Plus. I'm his favorite. :)

Hash is the dream dog. If Hash showed up on my door step I'd so totally keep him! I am so jealous!

That is so great! He certainly is a pretty dog! I love dogs with great personalities. My family had a big dog for the first 13 years of my life and I LOVED him. Big dogs are fantastic really. Glad he's working out so well.
