The boy is growing UP.
Not out.
Just UP.
Which makes it very hard to find clothes for a kid. When you are over 6 feet tall, but only a 30 in. waist, it's hard to get pants that don't make you look like you're hunting a job with Noah.
Pretty much your only option, is to get pants that are too big AROUND in order to have your pants touch the tops of your shoes.
But I digress.
While we were out, we went to a Chinese buffet in the town we were at. It's a really good little shop. REALLY good. Squid, Fresh Kimchi and Sushi good. So. We went there.
I'm browsing through the food, and saw FROG'S LEGS.
I've never seen frog's legs anywhere but oh, I don't know...
ON A FROG.
I know that they are eaten. I've had chicken's feet before... I'm not scared to try new things. So I tried one! It was really good!!
Then I dared Ian to eat one!! He didn't want to, until I dared him to do it for $10.
THEN he tried it. He SAYS it was OK. The only thing he says he didn't like was the chewy texture.
BUT.
I think the photos say otherwise...

In other news, I finished my challenge doll for the Cloth and Clay group!! I love her!! The theme was Circus. I went vintage french. Her name is Ciel Bleu. She's a trapeze artist. I think I'm going to do a series... any good circus characters you think I might be able to make? I'm already planning on a strong man.
As of right now, I don't plan to put Ciel up for sale. I might make another like her to put in my shop.

Ciel is a BEAUTY!!!! great job. i love the idea of a tattooed lady and u need some type of ring master for a circus...oh how fab would it be to have a ring mistress and make her all sparkly!!!

wow frog legs! i don't think i could ever imagine even touching it! you see i have this phobia of frogs. i go running and jump on the nearest thing if i see a frog. That Ciel Bleu is too cute!
too funny your son would eat the frog leg for $10. I love your new doll. When I think circus I think of the fat lady. You know it is not over till the fat lady sings. LOL
naw, don't think even the $10 would have done it for me! they sell frogs' legs a lot down here...but they also sell alligator,turtle,rabbit,possum, and NUTRA RAT...so frog is no big deal!!!
what does "ciel" mean? that's a very pretty yet unusual name. she's beautiful!
