Seamster?
My hubby the seamster...
as in,
MY HUBBY is sewing.
On MY new sewing machine.
The one I haven't even REALLY used.
The one I bought this summer, and still need some lessons on.
The one I'm afraid to ruin.
That one.
We bought some pants at the thrift store, and some other, matching, but too small pants at the same time. The small pants, for the pockets that he wanted to cut off, and sew onto the ones that fit, so he'd have "cargo pants" for hunting.
I just assumed that when he said we could sew them on, he meant that I could sew them on.
Because when I say we, I usually ALWAYS totally mean HE...
and yet, this evening, I noticed that he had pulled out my sewing machine, and was figuring out how to use it.
I have to admit.
I had a small panic attack.
I mean, he was probably going to break the thing...
right?
wrong.
He even figured out how to make a bobbin and thread it.
I haven't even gotten that far.
Up until now,
I'd been using the thread and bobbin that CAME with that bad boy.
I think I may have to relinquish Sewing Honors to the MAN.
He can rock a BabyLock.

Woo-hooo!! Maybe he could come to NC and teach my hubsters!! I was up last night, at the last minute, sewing his name tapes on his new cammies! He so needs to learn to do it himself!
A man in front of a sewing maching making less work for his wife... now that's sexy!
That is flipping awesome!
Ooooh Baby....now that is sexy and awesome ;)
love the new banner!
you know, you could submit this for my november in b&w project...
if you wanted.
;)
Hey, does this mean you're going to try sewing on your layouts now? I mean, after all, now that you have a certified sewing machine GENIUS in your home to show you the ropes, you really have no excuse NOT to try it, right? ;)
By the way, how did those pants turn out? I wanna see if he models cargo pants as well as he makes them, lol!
Whoo hoo Big Daddy!
