I collect dirt.
I know.
WEIRD. I'm OK with that. In FACT... if you HAPPEN to read this, and live in GERMANY for say, the year... and you are booked for a photography session with me when you get BACK to the states...
You don't HAVE to,
but I'm just saying...
I collect Dirt.
I really like dirt from other countries.
Dirt would be a GREAT trade for some pictures...
Just sayin'.

Dreck für Fotos? Ein guter Tausch! Na logisch bringen wir dir eine Flasche voll gesunden Bio-Erde mit aus dem überschönen Deutschland!
ReplyDeleteAlles Liebe und viele Grüße!
what a cool idea!
ReplyDeletei've seen the same idea with sand...very cool.
I have collected sand from our favorite beach that we go to every summer....I think it's a cool collection...and love the jars...
ReplyDeletelove the jars . I think collecting dirt is ok, I love to collect rocks , where ever we go like on vacation or whatever I always pick up a rock and bring home with me!!
ReplyDeleteFirst your post made me laugh. My brother lives in Germany - I asked for beer. LOL!
ReplyDeleteSecond - I am happy to report that I haven't lost my ability to read German! Yeah! After all these years of NOT speaking or reading it..it's still there. :D
OK, you know this, but since everyone is telling what they collect I will add my two sense. Dad is the one who actually does this. He collects heart shaped rocks to give to me. It's amazing how many are out there! The largest one is about the size of a grapefruit. In Hawaii he found lots of heart shaped coral.
ReplyDeleteGuess what? I have dirt from Bahgdad(sp?)! I don't have much(like maybe a film canister full), but would be willing to share a bit if you'd like. I also have sand from VA beach and the MI dunes. Have I mentioned how scary similar we are? lol
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Your photo is absolutely beautiful. I too have collected sand from holidays and also from my sons first trip to the beach. I have put it in a frame with a photo of him playing with his bucket and spade.
ReplyDeletei spent a month in germany
ReplyDeletedo you want dirt from sanibel island fla or from new hampshire?
